North Kohala’s published and amateur authors will read from their recent work and share stories of their writing life from 6-7:30 p.m. on Monday at North Kohala Public Library in Kapaau.

Englebert to discuss feng shui
Local author Clear Englebert will discuss “Feng Shui in the Bedroom” from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the Kealakekua Public Library.
According to feng shui, the bedroom is the most important room and the bed is the most important object in the home. In his talk, Englebert will address the various details, such as color, texture, lighting, and artwork, that help a bedroom support sound sleep.
Englebert’s books will be for sale at the talk, and Watermark Publishing will donate 30 percent of the sale price to the Friends of the Libraries, Kona.
Englebert has practiced and taught feng shui in Hawaii and California since 1995. A recognized feng shui expert, he has appeared on television, radio, and in the print media. He has written six books on feng shui, including “Bedroom Feng Shui” and “Feng Shui for Hawaii.” His latest book is “Feng Shui for Love &Money.”
